What a beautiful month as we’ve celebrated Easter, Ramadan and Passover, it has been joyous taking part and learning more with our friends here at Tree Shepherd.
The blossoms and blooms are out in force here in London bringing a real burst of much needed brightness to our lives. This is such a miraculous time of year where we are surrounded by reminders of second chances and hope- things that perhaps feel in short supply right now but it is so wonderful that the seasons remain true and remind us of hopeful better things to come.
On to Tree Shepherd business and not to be upstaged by Mother Nature, the team have been busy bees with all manner of activities to support our community members and service users.
April hasn’t seen us sitting around enjoying the sunny days in our lovely local parks, we have had yet another successful Peckham Business Forum workshop where yet once again committed business owners came together to brainstorm and plan for the success of Peckham High Street.
We hosted a pop-up shop in Market Row Brixton. Bringing in local creators including Kes Young from Heart in the Art, Snezana Nikolic from YKhairos, Sherilyn Dos Santos from Pure Goodness and Winston Ottey to fill the shop and sell their wares. Thank you Laura Mills, Brixton Village Events Coordinator, Anita from Diverse gifts, Councillor Mary Atkins from Brixton Bid and the Brixton Project. Your support is greatly appreciated.
Finally, I’m also really pleased to announce that we’ve welcomed a new Mentor, Eunice Thomas, to our team. She comes to us with over 20 years of retail and merchandise planning expertise, we couldn’t be more delighted to add her to our family of wonderful and dedicated Mentors.
Wherever you are I hope that spring continues to bring you many of nature’s finest gifts and I thank you as always for your continued support.

Could you be a mentor?
Tree Shepherd offers one-to-one support to individuals and businesses in our local South London communities, helping them to establish and grow their own business enterprises by way of mentors and trainers.
Mentors give advice based on a shared understanding of the challenges faced by business owners. They encourage you to look at your business or organisation with a fresh perspective and to find solutions and alternatives based on experience and best practice.
Get in touch if you think you’d like to be a mentor or trainer. The full blog can be read here.
