A highlight for me this month has been meeting our clients and partner at our summer networking event at the amazing Skylight rooftop bar in Peckham. Our aim is to build a community where businesses can build meaningful relationships that grows their business

It was great to see both old and new clients practising their networking skills.

We’ve also been partnering with LEAP, an organisation that works with young people to give them skills to navigate conflict in their lives. At Tree Shepherd we are introducing the traditional craft of making Ludi boards. Led by Winston from @uappymeappyludi young people between the ages of 18-30 years old, can create their own boards, learn the art of the game and how to turn this into a business

These workshops run every Tuesday and Wednesday until 21st September 2022. If you or someone you know would like to book a place, please email us on info@treeshepherd.org.uk

I’m sure you, like me, have enjoyed the various carnivals and festivals around London! It has been so joyous to see friends, family, and party like it’s 2019!

I wanted to give a shout out to all who took part in the Tulse Hill Estate Fun-Day. The atmosphere was one of pure joy and celebration and it was heart-warming to see community spirit in abundance. For me, the Spanish dancers showing off their skills pre–Notting Hill Carnival was a real highlight. Thank you to all the residents for coming out and making it a truly special day.

Wherever you are I hope that these last days of summer continue to bring you many of nature’s finest gifts and I thank you as always for your continued support.

Help to Grow: Digital scheme

Being digital in your business means taking full advantage of technology to help your enterprise be more efficient, flourish and grow. At Tree Shepherd we know that being tech savvy and having access to all the relevant technology that’s on offer is really important to businesses, no matter what their size- The UK government has recently announced that it is expanding its Help to Grow: Digital scheme making it available to businesses with 1+ employees and we have written all about the scheme and how it could benefit your business.

Holistic Mentoring

Tree Shepherd understands the importance of mentoring when it comes to helping our clients meet their business goals. We also recognise that by mentoring the whole person – and not just the ‘business’ person – we can help our clients increase their potential for success.

We’re always looking for new ways to help you on your journey to self-employment and that is why we’re so pleased to be able to offer holistic business coaching.

Holistic business coaching may not be something that you are familiar with, so we have written a blog all about it and you can read it here. If you or someone you know could benefit from our coaching, mentoring or courses please reach out to us, we are always happy to have a chat about our services.

Looking ahead to September

We have a new monthly market starting in partnership with Thrive and Surrey Quays shopping Centre. The first one will be on the 24th of September and then will be held monthly on a Saturday – dates to be announced.

This will be a fabulous opportunity for us to highlight some of our local small independent traders and we really hope that you will join us in supporting them. Keep an eye on our socials for more information.
