Free Enterprise Course for the Unemployed and Low Paid in Hammersmith and Fulham Unemployed and low paid residents from the Hammersmith and Fulham area can now book a free online course to help them get started in business.

With more people than ever starting new enterprises in the UK, the course is aimed at people currently out of work or on low wage and is led by experienced tutors and business advisors, providing advice on all the steps needed for starting a business.

The free online Start Your Own Enterprise course, run by social enterprise Tree Shepherd in partnership with Petit Miracles, runs for 8-weeks from 27 May 2021, beginning with an induction on 20 May 2021 and covers topics from writing a business plan to marketing a business.

Participants will first be helped to develop their ideas, before designing a business plan, learning about cash flow, and being taught how to make their first sale. It is open to residents of Hammersmith and Fulham age 18 or over who are unemployed or economically inactive.

Sandra Ferguson, CEO of Tree Shepherd said: “We want to show people, especially the unemployed, that they can realise their dreams and run a business. With the advice and guidance that our tutors and advisors provide they can be running a successful enterprise in no time. The courses will offer insight into all aspects of running a business.”

Participants of the course will also receive 12-weeks of free trading in the Petit Miracle hight street retail shop as well as monthly business workshops and coaching.
