Peckham Business Forum (PBF): Workshop Apr 7th, 2022

On the evening of Thursday 7th April we held our 2nd workshop for the Peckham Business Forum, at the Mountview Academy of Theatre. A more intimate group of 6 well established small independent businesses worked together. We came up with a number of high impact solutions that the Peckham Business Forum could provide to help them navigate their way through the regeneration, and retain their presence in Peckham. Once again our resident live illustrator captured the key messages from the session.

Live Illustrator; Bridget Meyne

One of the central themes was that the Peckham Business Forum could be run as a cooperative, with a particular focus on the contributions that the more successful businesses in the forum could make by giving back to the local business community. It was good to see how the businesses interacted with each other and ideas that were created and explored within the group setting.

Thank you to the businesses that attended, who are bringing their knowledge and experience to the Peckham Business Forum, the outcomes of which can be seen in the live Illustration.

The businesses in attendance were as follows:

  • Shep Sports Massage – Holdrons Arcade
  • Leila Dunning Projects – Copeland Park & Bussey Building
  • Sunset Studios – Copeland Park & Bussey Building
  • Peckham Soul – Copeland Park & Bussey Building
  • Aklowa Ltd
  • Augusta Sesay – Hairdresser

These businesses are making an impact in Peckham, so seek them out and find out what they have to offer.

Our next workshop will be taking place on the 19th May 22 and will include guest speakers, workshops and 1-2-1 business health checks, plus food and refreshments. More details on how to registration will follow soon. If you would like to be a part of our next workshop to explore this opportunity further, please contact rhian@treeshepherd.org.uk
