TACC are part of the National befriender network and recently ran a successful befriender training programme. We now need to recruit more befrienders due to a growing client base. As a befriender you will support up to 2 vulnerable people. This is a voluntary role however you will be paid expenses. You will receive a practice certificate, phone and prepaid sim card, regular supervision and continuous personal development. All successful applicants will need to be DBS checked.
Training will be run over 2 weeks from Thrive, 1 Teredo St, SE16 7LW. The course costs £40 and includes all handouts, refreshments and final certificate.
