Fear not, this year, Tree Shepherd and the Peckham Business Forum have joined forces to create a festive market in the heart of Peckham.
Join us on Saturday 7th December 2024 for what we think will be the perfect way to kick off the festive period – and of course source those one of a kind special gifts on your Christmas list.
Immerse yourself in the heart of the community with a fantastic line-up of local business market stalls, sensational live music and of course festive spirit! There’ll be a family-friendly festive trail down Rye Lane, and once you’ve cracked the code you’ll have a chance to be entered into a prize draw. Word is, the naughty elves are also visiting too!
This really is a case of wanting to include ALL of Peckham so we’ve worked hard at planning locations and events with the intention of creating an atmosphere of celebration that starts on the square but extends to all of our wonderful businesses.
The market itself will be on Peckham Square from 10am – 7pm. This will be a space for smaller traders to take part with at least 50% of the stall holders from Peckham, with the rest going to other South London based businesses.
In addition to the market stalls on the Square we’ll have a grotto, live music, warm drinks and a festive atmosphere – we have a few other surprises up our sleeves so keep an eye on our socials.
This event is about involving as much of Peckham as we can, so up and down Rye Lane we’ll be hosting what we are calling a festive trail. This will be the chance for retailers and businesses to take part through creating a ‘festive inspired’ station inviting members of the public and customers to come in and get in the spirit of the holidays.
Of course, the market is for everyone, but as a business forum and a charity that supports entrepreneurs we really want to invite small local businesses to consider the positive impact that taking part can have on your enterprise.
The festive season is one of the most lucrative times of year for retailers. It is a great opportunity to increase your sales, grow your customer base and have a jolly old time.
